Message from Editor
We proudly present the latest edition of the International Journal of Environment, Architecture, and Societies (IJEAS) — Volume 5, Issue 2, 2025. This issue features interdisciplinary research that reflects the journal's core commitment to advancing knowledge across the fields of environmental sustainability, architectural design, and societal development.
The five articles in this edition explore diverse yet converging themes: the symbolic unity of temple architecture across Asia, the role of sensory aesthetics in encouraging ecological behavior, and the importance of spatial connectivity in institutional buildings. Other contributions examine user experiences in public service environments and assess the legal readiness of Indonesia to adopt participatory frameworks aligned with the New Urban Agenda. Together, these works emphasize the significance of thoughtful design, cultural interpretation, environmental responsibility, and inclusive governance in shaping human-centered spaces.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all contributing authors for their dedication and valuable insights. We hope this issue serves as a meaningful contribution to ongoing discourse and innovation in environment, architecture, and society.
Warm regards,
